Inspection, Test And Routine Servicing
Paths of Travel shall be inspected in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment 2000 Division 7 for Miscellaneous Fire Safety Offences, inclusive of Clauses;
183 - Fire safety notice
184 - Fire exits
185 - Door relating to fire exits
186 - Path of travel to fire exits
In addition to Division 7, Paths of Travel may also be nominated as a Fire Safety Measure on the Fire Safety Schedule where it generally refers to the EP&A Regulations Clauses and also BCA Provisions under Section D for Access & Egress including the following parts & Specifications;
Part D1 Provision for Escape
Part D2 Construction of Exits
Part D3 Access for people with disabilities
Specification D1.12 - Non-Required Stairways, Ramps and Escalators

Inspection Intervals
As per 176 (1) the assessment of these measure should be within the period of 3 months prior to the date on which the annual statement is issued.
